How to Get Corrosive Weapons

Corrosive Weapon

The Corrosive element can be found on weapons and ordnance, and these are randomly obtained as loot or bought from Vending Machines. Compared to other elements, Corrosive is noticeably rarer to obtain on a weapon.

You should farm bosses via Moxxi's Big Encore in any completed boss arena for more chances in getting Corrosive loot that's at your current level.

Corrosive is the best element for melting targets with Armor health bars; these are often mechanical or fully-armored enemies. But as a drawback, it does not excel against any other type. Like most elements, Corrosive damage also deals Damage-Over-Time (DoT).

Weapons with the Corrosive element can be sometimes found across manufacturers, but it is commonly found in guns manufactured by Maliwan.
