Immediately Available
Borderlands 4 supports crossplay, allowing players to play online multiplayer across all platforms. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players will need to pay a separate subscription to access multiplayer.

Create and Link SHiFT Account
To enable crossplay, you must first create and link a SHiFT account to Borderlands 4. Once this is done, crossplay will be enabled in the game!

| Step-by-step Guide | |

| 1 |  Head to the official SHiFT site to create your account. You can either create a new account or link your account from an existing platform. |
| 2 |  After filling up the required information, a reconfirmation code will be sent to you. Retrieve and enter the code to proceed. |
| 3 |  Once you log in into your account, head to Gaming Platforms on the sidebar. Sign in to the platform where you purchased Borderlands 4 and it should link them. |
