Run Her as Late Surger
Vodka has an A aptitude with the Late Surger running style, so it is best to use this style for her races. Her skill Slick Surge also compliments this style well.
Max Out Her Potential When Able
To increase the amount of skills you immediately have access to on Vodka, it is recommended to max out her Potential level. However, if you do not have the Monies or materials to do so, you can hold back on increasing her potentials.
Upgrade Her Long Aptitude if You Can
Vodka will have Arima Kinen as one of her races which is a Long distance track. Vodka has a bad aptitude with Long races so consider having two Legacy Umamusume with 3 Long Sparks. Note that it isn't a requirement to win Arima Kinen but only do this if you want to win every races in her career.

As a Late Surger in Medium and Mile Races, Vodka does well when she has high Speed and Power that can let her easily overtake her opponents. High Wit also helps with skill activation and maneuvering. She will still need Stamina to help her get through races, so increase it as well.
It is important to note that if you cannot reach the stats recommended above, you can instead aim for a similar stat distribution. You can then compensate for the missing stats using skills. Additionally, if you are only planning on clearing a career run with Vodka then you can aim for lower stat numbers, as the stats above are a baseline for Team Trials.

Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude)We recommend a deck that consists of 3 Speed, 1 Stamina, 1 Power, 1 Wit for Vodka. If you need more Power, you can replace the Wit card with a Power card, but this shouldn't be a problem thanks to Vodka's +20% Power growth buff.
These cards will help Vodka level her needed Stats (especially with Rainbow/Friendship Training), as well as provide some needed skills like Swinging Maestro and Go with the Flow.

If you do not have the cards from the recommended deck, you can replace them with a similar stat card that provides skills that Vodka needs. These can be SSR cards, or even SR cards. Above are some of the SR cards that you can use in place of SSR Support cards.

For Legacy Sparks, we recommend trying to find Speed and Power sparks with some Stamina sparks as Vodka mostly races in Mile and Medium races. For race length sparks, prioritize looking for Mile sparks as most of Vodka's races are Mile length. You can also choose to get Medium sparks if you prefer to compete in Medium races.
For running style sparks, you can choose to either get a Pace Chaser spark to push it form B to A, or get Late Surger sparks to upgrade it from A to S.
You can use either your own Veterans, or borrow the ones from your friends. If you do not have Veterans with full sparks, you can go with whatever you have access to.

When picking Legacies, try to select compatible legacies, as they increase the chance of inheriting additional sparks during the Inheritance events. This is not required, but is highly recommended.
If you do not have access to fully compatible legacies, it is enough to ensure that you have at least good compatibility with your selected legacies.

Vodka is a Late Surger, so she will need speed and maneuvering to help her catch up late race. Fighter is a strong skills that can help get Vodka to the front of the pack, and synergizes well with Ramp Up.
Straightaway Acceleration, Homestretch Haste, and Corner Adept are all skills that can help Vodka with her speed, especially in the last spurt. Lastly, Swinging Maestro will help with Vodka's stamina needs, letting you level other stats instead.
If you cannot get the recommended skills, you can replace them with similar skills that you have access to. You will just need to make sure that Vodka can activate said skills in a race.

Based on personal experience I highly recommend her to run her as pace chase on mile races for at least the first year of her career. Despite training her pretty good and her having way higher stats than the other horses she still sometimes horribly fumbles as a late surger at that time in the career
