While it is possible to run Gold Ship as a Pace Chaser or Late Surger with the correct sparks, running her as an End Closer is still the best option. Gold Ship has access to skills that synergize well with this running style, like Standing By for Stamina recovery, and The Coast Is Clear!.
As Gold Ship will be overtaking a lot of opponents in her races, getting skills that activate when overtaking your opponents. Skills like Ramp Up and Pressure are especially good on Gold Ship.
Symboli Rudolf's Unique Skill, Behold Thine Emperor's Divine Might, synergizes well with Gold Ship's running style, as well as other skills that involve overtaking. Try to get Legacies that provide Hints for this skill.
Gold Ship's career consists of only Medium and Long races. As such, get Legacies that will improve your aptitude with these lengths. Focus on whichever length you plan to use Gold Ship on in Team Trials.

We recommend these stats for Gold Ship so that she can get a burst of speed in the later parts of the race as an End Closer. This amount of Stamina will also help counter the debuffers you will encounter in the race, especially if you have two Gold Recovery skills.
She will also need higher Stamina this time around compared to the Taurus Cup as this race will take place in a Long track.
Here are some of the skills we recommend you take on Gold Ship as they can help her catch up to the front, as well as give her speed to close the race. The recommended Gold Recovery skills will help Gold Ship survive the debuffers that she will encounter during the race.
For Unique Skills, Let's Pump Some Iron! and Behold Thine Emperor's Divine Might are good choices, as they both synergize with the End Closer style.

Since Gold Ship excels in being an End Closer in Medium to Long races, she will need a lot of Speed and Power to easily overtake her opponents. Increase her Stamina afterward, then give her some Guts and Wit after.
It is important to note that if you cannot reach the stats recommended above, you can instead aim for a similar stat distribution. You can then compensate for the missing stats using skills. Additionally, if you are only planning on clearing a career run with Gold Ship then you can aim for lower stat numbers, as the stats above are a baseline for Team Trials.
Gold Ship's recommended deck is a 3 Speed, 2 Stamina, 1 Power deck, although you can replace the Stamina for another Speed card. This gives her enough Stamina for the Medium and Long races, while still giving her enough power to help with her End Closer style.
These cards will help Gold Ship level her needed Stats (especially with Rainbow/Friendship Training), as well as provide some needed skills like Swinging Maestro and Go with the Flow.

As someone normally at the back of the pack, Gold Ship will need Stamina and Power sparks so she can easily accelerate forward later in a race. Get Medium or Long sparks after as her career races are a balance of both.
Afterward, either get End Closer sparks to make her aptitude for it go from A to S, or either Pace Chaser or Late Surger if you want to use a different strategy.
You can use either your own Veterans, or borrow the ones from your friends. If you do not have Veterans with full sparks, you can go with whatever you have access to.

When picking Legacies, try to select compatible legacies, as they increase the chance of inheriting additional sparks during the Inheritance events. This is not required, but is highly recommended.
If you do not have access to fully compatible legacies, it is enough to ensure that you have at least good compatibility with your selected legacies.

Gold Ship will mostly need speed and maneuvering skills, as her entire playstyle revolves around going from the rear to the front. Skills like Homestretch Haste, Straightaway Acceleration, and End Closer Corners will all help Gold Ship get the speed she needs.
Nimble Navigator, on the other hand, will help her maneuver through enemies, with Ramp Up giving her speed as she does so. Lastly, if you really need a Stamina skill, then Swinging Maestro is the one you should get.
If you cannot get the recommended skills, you can replace them with similar skills that you have access to. You will just need to make sure that Gold Ship can activate said skills in a race.

| An unpredictable firebrand born with an extra helping of free spirit. She's prone to some dramatic swings in mood and motivation—one moment she could be setting up an elaborate punchline, and in the next you would be hard-pressed to get her to move. She seems to get along with anyone and everyone, but it is unclear just how she views her bonds with others. Truly, one could call her Tracen's greatest mischief-maker. | ||

Pro tip if youre stuggling with gold ship: If you cant get the stamina requirement while struggling to get gold ship in front of the last spurt, i reccomend focusing on stamina and power more then speed then. Since speed can already be very easy to grind, you can slowly switch from speed and power to stamina and power training. I say around 500 speed mid-run is a okay stop, and some turns before the URA FINALE then you can resume speed training.
