How to Get Free Luocha or Ruan Mei in Version 3.2
Log-In Between Version 3.2 Until 3.4
Trailblazers are able to choose between Luocha and Ruan Mei when they log in at the start of Version 3.2 until the end of Version 3.4.
Trailblazers who log in during these versions will receive a Golden Companion Spirit, which they can use to exchange for a free Limited 5-Star character.
Best Free 5-Star Character to Choose in Version 3.2
Ruan Mei is The Best Choice
When looking to choose between Luocha and Ruan Mei, then you should get Ruan Mei, especially if you do not have her yet. Her kit brings so much to your team, providing you with numerous buffs such as All-Type RES PEN and Break Effect buffs.
She is also in numerous teams that have her as their Best-In-Slot, such as Break Effect teams.
Ruan Mei Best Builds and Teams
Ruan Mei to Upgrade your Break Team
Ruan Mei is very pivotal when it comes to Break Effect teams as not only can she delay an enemy's recovery after Weakness Break but she can also buff Break Efficiency with her kit.
Ruan Mei is simply the best character you can get if you have characters like Firefly, Rappa, and Boothill as she will be sure to increase your Break Team's damage!
Recommended to Get E1
If you already have Ruan Mei, consider getting her to E1 as she will be able to provide your team with a 20% DEF Ignore, giving you a much-needed boost to your damage.
If you do not have Luocha yet but have other sustains that can fill his role, then E1 Ruan Mei is higher on the priority list.
Luocha for HP Drain DPS Units
Luocha is a very good sustain healer for characters who reduce their own HP via attacks, though Gallagher fulfills this function too. Luocha can also remove buffs on enemies!
Honestly, there is not much reason to go for Luocha in today's content environment and power creep. Unless, of course, you want him for collection purposes or you really do not like Gallagher or do not have any of the F2P sustain units.

The Free Luocha or Ruan Mei event is now available starting from April 08, 2025 UTC-5 in the Version 3.2 update. Trailblazers can pick between Ruan Mei or Luocha using the Golden Companion Spirit.
Trailblazers can also pick from the Standard character pool if they do not want to choose between the two limited characters.
Will Last Until Version Version 3.4
The Free Luocha or Ruan Mei event will only last until Version 3.4 ends, so better log in between these three versions or you might lose the item needed to get a free 5-star character for your account.
