Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 has released last January 2, 2025 after Version 1.4. The major update introduces the new region of Rinascita which is known for its lavish parties and intriguing politics.

Version 2.0 sees the addition of two new characters from Rinascita, Carlotta and Roccia. Their banners runs in the first and second half of Version 2.0 respectively, along with the first rerun of two Huanglong characters: Zhezhi and Jinhsi!
Carlotta and Zhezhi's is available as of January 2, 2025 then Roccia and Jinhsi will follow on January 23, 2025!
New Weapons
The Last Dance (Pistol)
The Last Dance is a new 5-star Pistol weapon and is the signature weapon of the new Glacio character Carlotta. This weapon is available to get from its own Absolute Pulsation banner in the first half of Version 2.0.

Tragicomedy (Gauntlet)
Tragicomedy is a new 5-star Gauntlet weapon and is the signature weapon of the new Havoc character Roccia. Like The Last Dance, it will be available in its own Absolute Pulsation banner running in parallel with Roccia in the second phase of Version 2.0.

Poetry and Paean Series
Poetry and Paean is a new 4-star weapon series coming in Version 2.0 of Wuthering Waves. The series will have a weapon for each weapon type so hoping the effects for the weapons are great!
It is still unknown if the weapons are obtainable from gacha or from any other methods, but we will update this page once we know more!
Call of the Abyss
Call of the Abyss is a new 4-star Rectifier weapon that is confirmed to be a free weapon from the events in Version 2.0!
New Region: Rinascita
Rinascita is a New Region
Similar to Huanglong, Rinascita is the upcoming region that will be introduced in Version 2.0. Inside Rinascita is the city-state of Ragunna which functions a lot like Huanglong's Jinzhou City.

Ragunna, Rinascita's City-State
Rover's journey in Rinascita is confirmed to start in Ragunna, a city-state found in the Rinascita region. It is known to be a city of festivities with carnivals and celebrations filling the air. Think of this as Rinascita's Jinzhou.
Ragunna is also the central theme of one of the events in Version 1.4 called Ragunna Sales Blitz. The event aims to introduce players to the city-state and the region of Rinascita!

New Wing Gadget
Rinascita is confirmed to have a good balance of high mountains and low laying fields. With this in mind, Wuthering Waves has confirmed that all Rovers will have access to a new tool that will allow us to fly and glide in Rinascita!
Story Skip Function
It has been announced that Rovers do not need to finish the full story of Version 1.0 to access Rinascita. They only need to finish Chapter 1 Act 3 to access a new event that will take them straight to Rinascita!

Early Access to Boss Challenges
Players are now able to access boss challenges early even without unlocking them in their locations in the map! This makes it easier for Rovers to build characters immediately without looking for the locations of the overworld bosses.
Rover Appearance Switching
From Version 2.0, players can now swap between the two Rover appearances available in the game!
Synthesis on the Go
From Version 2.0, players are now able to synthesize materials even without fast traveling to a Synthesizer!
Material Conversion
Materials can now be converted into another material within its own category with the new Material Conversion feature! The conversion seems to have a 50% efficiency so converting 100 Howler Cores will give you 50 Whisperin Cores in return!
100% Map Exploration Rewards
Exploring maps and reaching a 100% exploration now gives you milestone rewards from Version 2.0! The rewards are also retroactive so if you have a 100% for all areas in Huanglong, you are in for a treat in Version 2.0!
Interactive Map and 100% Guide
Immersion Mode
Players toggle Immersion Mode after updating to Version 2.0! This mode removes all HUD elements for a more immersive playthrough of Wuthering Waves.
Archive of Melody
An Echo in Rinascita will also allow players to play their favorite Wuthering Waves music whenever they want! According to the developers, it will also be possible to change background music with this echo!
