Is Scar Playable?
Currently Not a Playable Character
There are no official announcements on Scar's status as a playable character in Wuthering Waves. Although, his unique design and the Resonator Tacet Mark on his neck may lead players to remain optimistic about his release in the future!

Weekly Boss After Main Quest
While not directly a playable character in the game, Scar can be challenged as a Weekly Boss where players can earn Union Level EXP and other leveling materials after defeating him and spending Waveplates.
Who is Scar?
Recently Liberated From Jail
In the recent Version 2.4 trailer, Scar makes a brief cameo alongside another enigmatic Fractsidus member, Cristoforo. This marks his first appearance since his imprisonment in Huanglong, sparking speculation that he has now been freed.
With his return, it's likely that he will join Phrolova and other Fractsidus members in their renewed efforts to sow discord and bring about another Dark Tide in Septimont.
One of the Rover's Stalkers
Scar first appears in a cutscene toward the end of First Resonance and can be seen stalking the Rover in Jinzhou City alongside another figure; though it is only through the events of Ominous Star that he fully reveals himself to them after abducting Yangyang in order to have an uninteruppted conversation.
An Overseer Within the Fractsidus
Scar is one of the Overseers within the Fractsidus; An organization hell-bent on speeding up the next Lament as they believe the Tacet Discords are the key for humanity to evolve further.
Seeker of Chaos and Destruction
An explosive and unpredictable individual, Scar believes that The Lament will bring about a new era of evolution, and actively works against those who would seek to suppress it.
Apart from this, he has a general craving for destruction and is "Crazy even by the Fractsidus' standards" as Yangyang described him.
A Foe With Many Abilities
Scar's signature move is stored within the seemingly infinite amount of cards he produces from thin air which have the ability to ignite, explode on impact, or remain dormant.
He is also capable of creating his own domain which he calls an Elysium, allowing him to trap and personally toy with his prey. This is where he reveals his ability to shapeshift into a more grotesque secondary form -- the Abberant Nightmare.
Wants the Rover to Join Them
Since his introduction to Wuthering Waves' main story, Scar has been pursuing the Rover in the hopes of convincing them to join the Fractsidus. He also already seems to know the Rover to a certain degree.
During his capture in Clashing Blades, He went on to claim that once they know who they "really are", they will join him willingly as a "black lamb".
