During a Developer Discussion update, it was announced that when Version 5.3 hits, players in World Level 8 can now join players in World Level 9, streamlining the co-op experience for those who have already made it to endgame.

To raise your World Level, you need to increase your Adventure Rank to a certain level by accumulating Adventure EXP from completing overworld tasks like opening treasure chests, or completing quests.

Once you have reached the specific Adventure Rank, you can start the Ascension Quests from Katheryine in the Adventurers' Guilds, and completing it will increase your World Level.

When a player's World Level increases, enemies can drop higher rarities on items, and the number of drops increases, such as Artifacts, common Ascension Materials, or World Boss Character Level-Up Materials.

Enemies and Bosses Get Stronger

On the negative side, With a higher World Level, your enemies and bosses levels increase too, making them stronger and tougher to fight with their higher HP levels and increased power on their attacks.
